Les normes qui se diffusent dans les organisations ont été souvent conçues par des ingénieurs et pour le secteur industriel. Il est intéressant de se demander si les responsables qualité de formation non scientifique ou technique traduisent ces outils de contrôle organisationnel de façon similaire à leurs homologues scientifiques ou techniciens. Pour répondre à cette question, nous avons étudié le discours de différents responsables qualité concernant la norme ISO 9001 selon une méthode d'analyse du champ lexical en nous appuyant sur le fait que le vocabulaire choisi traduit l'image de la norme diffusée. Nous avons trouvé deux types de modèle de contrôle organisationnel dans les discours étudiés et l'on peut penser qu'ils sont corrélés à la nature de la formation de base des personnes. Dans l'objectif de faciliter la légitimation de la norme ISO 9001 au sein de l'entreprise, ceci pourrait éclairer le choix du recrutement des responsables qualité. Images passed on by a standard : initial training determinism of the quality managers The standards which spread in organizations were often conceived by engineers and in industry. So it is interesting to wonder if people in charge of quality with no scientific or technical training translate these tools of organizational control in a similar way to their engineer or technician counterparts. To answer this issue we studied speech of various quality managers concerning the ISO 9001 standard according to a lexical research method because the chosen vocabulary translates the spread standard image. We found two types of organizational control model in the studied speeches. They seemed to be related to the nature of the initial training of the persons. In order to facilitate the ISO 9001 standard legitimization within the organization, this could enlighten the choice of quality manager recruitment.
