Les auteures ont mené une recherche ethnographique sur la pratique de soin dans un contexte d'implantation d'un système d'information médicale au sein d'un service d'oncologie d'un hôpital français. En prenant appui sur les notions de « travail d'équipement » et « d'échafaudage », et en privilégiant trois moments clés, leur objectif est de saisir et comprendre le travail de soin comme constitué interactionnellement et matériellement. Dans leur conclusion, elles discutent du rôle que cet échafaudage de conversations, d'écrits, d'objets et de technologies joue dans le maintien d'une vigilance organisationnelle au sein de cette organisation de santé. The authors conducted ethnographic research on care practices in the context of the implementation of a medical information system at a hospital oncology department in France. Drawing on the notions of “equipment at work” and “care scaffolding” and the analysis of three key moments, they seek to understand care in practice as scaffolded interactionally and materially. In their conclusion, they discuss the role that this “scaffolding” of discussions, writings, objects, and technical systems plays in the organizational mindfulness of this healthcare organization.
