Résumé. Ce texte présente les résultats d'une évaluation de l'implantation d'un dossier médical informatisé dans quatre hôpitaux québécois (Canada). Nous étudions les enjeux accompagnant le développement et l'expérimentation in situ de cette innovation à la lumière de la théorie des réseaux d'actants. L'attention est ainsi portée sur la redistribution des tâches qui s'opère dans le réseau associant des humains et des non- humains. Nous détaillons trois problématisations dominantes parmi les gestionnaires, les infirmières et les médecins qui ont marqué le développement du dossier informatisé, son expérimentation dans les unités de soins ainsi que son intégration ardue au travail clinique. Notre but est d'étayer empiriquement le potentiel heuristique de la théorie des réseaux d'actants tout en dégageant des enjeux importants dans la conception et la mise en œuvre d'outils informatisés. This article presents an evaluation of the implementation of a computerized medical records System in four Quebec hospitals (Canada). We discuss the development and in situ experimentation of this innovation in the light of the Actants' Network Theory. The focus of the evaluation is mainly directed at task distribution that operates within the network linking humans and non-humans. We describe in detail three prevailing «problematizations» which exist among administrators, nurses and physicians, and which affected the development of the computerized medical records System, its implementation in health care units and its integration within clinical work. Our aim is to illustrate, in empirical terms, the heuristic potential of the Actants' Network Theory, while at the same time bringing to light important design and experimentation issues in the implementation of computerized Systems.
