Face à la co-fusion entre physique et numérique, engendrée par l'ubiquitous computing, la métaphysique matérialiste semble s'écrouler laissant place à une nouvelle ontologisation du monde. Bien que l'être humain ne soit jamais paru aussi proche du cyborg, c'est la notion d'« inforg » qui rend le mieux compte d'un processus d'hybridation plus subtile, à savoir celle du Logos avec la Technè.
