En s'appuyant sur l'approche en terme de "réseau" complétée par la prise en
compte de l'entrepreneur comme principal acteur de la prise de décision en
matière de localisation, cet article analyse les grandes tendances de l'évolution
récente de la localisation des entreprises industrielles à Douala. Il apparaît, ainsi,
que les unités de production industrielle se logent principalement dans les
arrondissements se situant dans la périphérie de la ville, où l'on assiste ces

The peripheral location of industrial enterprises and the creation of new centralities in Douala
Using the theoretical approach developed in terms of "network" and which is
being completed by considerating the contractor like the principal actor of the
location of the firms, this article aims to analyse the leanings brought out by the
recent evolution of industrial locations in Douala. We note that the location of
industrial enterprises is mainly being held in the peripheral districts of the city
and where, moreover, the territorial basis of the industrial activities has gained
