| Résumé |
Les relations interrégionales euro-asiatiques telles qu'établies dans le cadre de l'ASEM en 1996 tenaient la dimension culturelle pour un instrument nécessaire à la promotion de la connaissance mutuelle et à l'amélioration de la capacité des deux zones à trouver une nouvelle façon de coopérer. L'institution de l'ASEF représente la volonté concrète de promouvoir une meilleure compréhension entre l'Asie et l'Europe grâce aux échanges entre les intellectuels, les artistes et les individus. La réalisation d'importants projets de coopération montre comment les relations interrégionales peuvent bénéficier de la connaissance mutuelle à travers l'établissement de nouvelles connexions de coopération. Cependant la coopération culturelle reste encore en dessous de son potentiel et nécessite un engagement majeur et des investissements des tous les membres de l'ASEM. The Role of Cultural and Educational Cooperation within the ASEM
The interregional relations between Asia and Europe established with the institution of the ASEM in 1996 have considered the cultural dimension as a necessary tool to increase mutual understanding and improve the ability of both regions to find a new way of collaboration. The institution of the ASEF demonstrated a tangible commitment to promote a better understanding between Asia and Europe through the promotion of exchanges between intellectuals, artists and individuals. The realization of important projects shows how interregional relations can benefit mutual knowledge through the establishment of new connections of cooperation.
