Colombian peace agreement referendum How can we interpret the result of the Colombian peace agreement referendum? What reasons can explain why the people voted “No” in the referendum? In this context, what is the importance of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos? And what possibilities exist for a new agreement that will bring an end to a five-decade war against the FARC? This article attempts to answer these questions by means of a political analysis of this new context marked by uncertainty, the polarization of the society and the political tension.
