L'objet de cet article est d'identifier les conditions d'efficacité des activités de surveillance de l'environnement. Ces conditions dépendent essentiellement de la capacité de l'entreprise à valoriser l'information, c'est-à-dire à la rapatrier au sein de l'organisation dans un souci d'appropriation, de mobilisation interne et d'opérationnalisation. L'efficacité de la veille apparaît dans ces considérations liées à l'existence d'une finalité clairement identifiée qui facilitera la collectivisation d'une pratique à l'origine individuelle. The aim of this article is to identify the efficiency conditions of the environmental scanning activities. These conditions depend essentially on the capacity of the firm to enhance the value of information, that is to say to bring it back within the organization in a concern of appropriation, internal mobilization and operationalization. The efficiency of the environmental scanning appears in these considerations linked to the existence of a clearly identified end which will facilitate the collectivization of a practice at first individual.
