Cet article travaille une figure patrimoniale de la globalisation, la friche industrielle reconvertie par la « créativité », sur la base d'une comparaison entre deux quartiers péricentraux, Plaine Commune en banlieue parisienne et le quartier romain Ostiense. Il présente la déclinaison de tous les standards de la « créativité » et s'interroge sur la contribution incertaine et sélective de la culture à la régénération urbaine et à la construction du polycentrisme métropolitain. Il souligne l'ambivalence des relations entre la « créativité » et la patrimonialisation, pour conclure aux interférences croissantes entre le régime d'urbanité métropolitain et un régime « post-patrimonial ». This article is a reflection about an heritage-figure of globalization, the industrial wasteland converted by "creativity", based on a comparison between two pericentral areas, Plaine Commune in Paris suburbs and the Roman district Ostiense. It analyzes all the standard variation of the "creativity" and questioned the uncertain and selective contribution of culture in urban regeneration and in construction of metropolitan polycentrism. It emphasizes the ambivalence of the relationship between "creativity" and heritage, and concludes that the interference between the metropolitan urban system and the “post-heritage” system are increasing.
