L'article propose une interprétation de la transformation survenue dans la ville de Lima autour de la formation d'une nouvelle sociabilité urbaine. L'argument est présenté en deux grandes étapes. Dans un premier moment, l'article précise comment cette sociabilité commune, tout en participant à l'expansion d'un processus d'horizontalisation sociale et culturelle, ne peut pas être associée cependant ni avec un contre-projet hégémonique ni avec un acteur populaire homogène. Il s'agit plutôt d'une sociabilité produite par une myriade d'acteurs, sans unité, qui a néanmoins fini par engendrer un régime d'interaction particulier. Dans un second moment, il s'attarde sur l'analyse de trois grandes manifestations de cette sociabilité : l'idéal de la fusion, le phénomène chicha et la figure de l'achorado. Lima, the revolution of sociabilities The article proposes an interpretation of the major transformations that have occurred in the city of Lima from the hypothesis of the formation of a new urban sociability. The argument is presented in two main stages. At first, the article explains how this common sociability, while participating in the expansion of a process of social and cultural horizontalisation, cannot be associated, however, either with a political project or with a homogeneous popular actor. Rather, it is a sociability produced by a myriad of diverse actors, without unity, which nevertheless engendered a particular interaction regime. In a second moment, the article focuses on the analysis of three major manifestations of this sociability: the ideal of fusion, the chicha phenomenon and the figure of the achorado.
