Ce texte invite à la compréhension des registres de l'innovation (l'innovation comme discours, la volonté d'innovation, innovation et tradition, innovation et transgression, la substance évolutionniste de l'innovation, la tension « adoption – diffusion », les relations « innovation - apprentissage organisationnel et configurations organisationnelles apprenantes ») et au débat engagé en sciences des organisations. Pour ce qui est des auteurs, il sera question de la conception interactionniste de l'innovation de Kline & Rosenberg au regard d'une perspective incrémentale (1986), du « modèle de la traduction » (M. Akrich & M. Callon & B. Latour, 1988), de l'innovation démocratique (von Hippel, 1988), de l'innovation de rupture (Christensen, 1995), de l'innovation ouverte (Chesbrough, 2003), de l'ambidextrie organisationnelle, de l'innovation frugale, avant de conclure sur l'innovation comme Zeitgeist (esprit du temps). This text invites in the understanding of innovation issues (innovation as discourse, the will of innovation, innovation and tradition, innovation and transgression, the evolutionary sub-stance of innovation, the tension ‘adoption – diffusion', innovation & organizational learning) and in the debates in today's organization studies. With the authors, it will be question of the interactionist perspective of innovation (Kline and Rosenberg) regarding an incremental perspective (1986), of the ‘model of the translation' (Akrich, Callon and Latour, 1988), of the ‘democratic innovation' (von Hippel, 1988), of the disruptive innovation (Christensen, 1995), of the ‘open innovation' (Chesbrough, 2003), of the ‘organizational ambidextry', of the ‘frugal innovation', before ending on innovation as Zeitgeist (spirit of the times).
