En refusant la participation classique, des militants italiens d'extrême gauche cherchent à fuir les catégories pratiques du champ politique ainsi que celles de la science politique, qu'ils appréhendent comme une norme. Ils cherchent à devenir indéfinissables politiquement. Nous analysons dans cet article des rites altermondialistes liés au zapatisme, en ce qu'ils constituent des formes de participation. Les aspects cérémoniaux et initiatiques liés au voyage marquent en effet l'entrée dans une communauté militante et, du point de vue anthropologique et cognitif, construisent une relation entre espace et temps qui s'appuie sur une idée d'Utopie, considérée ici comme une construction culturelle spécifique dont on examinera spatialité et temporalité.La dimension spirituelle expérimentée au cours et autour du voyage fonde le caractère buissonnier de cette participation. By refusing classical participation, radical-left Italian militants seek to escape both the practical categories of the political field as well as those of political science, which they perceive as a norm. They seek to become politically indefinable. We will analyze alterglobalist rites, which are linked to Zapatism in that they constitute forms of participation. The ceremonial and initiatory aspects related to the journey mark the entry into a militant community. From an anthropological and cognitive point of view, they build a relationship between space and time that is based on an idea of Utopia considered here as a specific cultural construction, the spatiality and temporality of which we will examine here.The spiritual dimension experienced during the journey, and which surrounds it, is the basis of this participation.
