Résumé anglais La guerre d'Algérie dans les relations franco-espagnoles.
The beginnings of the Algerian War is marked by the tension between France and Spain caused by the deposition in August 1953 of the Sultan of Morocco. In Spring 1957 the Spanish position draws close to the French, this convergence of analysis being expressed in the United Nations. At the same time international pressure increases, albeit without ranging Spain among the indefectible allies. What makes the Spanish case special is undoubtedly the constant bargaining in which the pro-Franco mode bound the Algerian question to the whole of the bilateral relations, which paradoxically created the conditions of reconciliation between the two countries.
