Le combat armé de la Pologne contre le Troisième Reich se maintint du premier au dernier jour de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale. Après la première période et la campagne de Pologne en septembre 1939, ce combat se poursuivit en France et aux côtés de la Grande Bretagne. Les Polonais déportés par les Soviétiques au Kazakhstan et en Sibérie dans les années 1940-1941 ont pu intégrer une armée qui se formait à partir de 1941, après l'invasion allemande contre l'URSS. Son parcours ultérieur a mené cette armée, nommée le 2e Corps polonais, accompagnée par un certain nombre de personnes civiles en Iran, au Proche Orient et sur le front d'Italie. Une autre armée polonaise fut formée en URSS en 1943. Poland's armed combat with the Third Reich lasted from the first to the last day of the Second World War. After the initial period of the Polish campaign in September 1939, this combat continued in France and at the side of the United Kingdom. The Poles who were deported by the Soviets to Kazakhstan and Siberia in 1940-1941 were integrated into an army corps, created in late 1941 after the German invasion of the USSR. The campaign of this army corps, named the IIe Polish Corps and supported by a certain number of civilian personnel, ran through Iran, the Near East, and the Italian front. Another Polish army corps was formed in the USSR in 1943.
