Si l'on admet ce paradoxe selon lequel le droit d'auteur constitue une exception au principe de libre circulation des idée, son maintien relève d'un véritable défi juridique à l'heure où la question se complique de l'irruption de nouvelles technologies et du croisement des législations nationales et transnationales. Protection renforcée, allongement de la durée de protection, mais prise en compte de l'élargissement du patrimoine culturel: tels sont les principales caractéristiques de ce défi. If we agree that, paradoxically, copyright is an exception to the principle of the free circulation of ideas, its maintenance becomes truly challenging at a time when the appearance of new technologies and the combination of national and transnational legislation are turning into increasingly complex issues.
