Roman-Canonical Monument and New Public Management: Theological Roots and Theological Issues of a Meeting – This article analyses the issues related to the introduction of New Public Management in the French public organizations. The author doesn't want to point the managerial, economic and social consequences of this introduction. Its aim is to unveil the civilizational, anthropological and theological logics that subtend the meeting between American ideology and practices on the one hand, and the French administrative tradition on the other.
