Résumé. - Des étudiants historiens «résistent» à l'enseignement géographique l'année de la préparation au CAPES. L'année suivante, ils manifestent la même résistance à la formation professionnelle à la didactique de la géographie. Cette résistance est interrogée au regard de leurs représentations sur la géographie à différents moments de ce cursus. Ces représentations évoluent et la spécificité des historiens est dégagée, ce qui peut éclairer la réflexion sur les problèmes de la formation des enseignants. Source : Éditeur (via Persée) |

Abstract. - History students are reluctant to study geography during the year they spend preparing for the CAPES exam. The following year they show a similar reluctance in the course of their training for the teaching of geography. Consequently both aspects will be critically examined in the light of the mental images that they have concerning geography at different moments of their training programme. It seems that these mental images are constantly changing ; the specific characteristics of history students will also be brought to light.
