Partant du postulat qu'il existe un racisme systémique auquel contribuent les médias, l'auteure explore les modalités de matérialisation de l'idéologie raciste dans la fiction sérielle espagnole. Le corpus, défini au moyen d'une analyse programmationnelle, et l'usage du stéréotype comme catégorie d'analyse donnent à voir certaines caractéristiques du paysage télévisuel espagnol tout autant qu'il a permis de sélectionner deux fictions sérielles : Física o Química (2008-2011) et Aída (2005-2014). Starting from the hypothesis that the media contributes to a form of systemic racism, the author explores the ways racist ideology is manifested in Spanish T.V. sitcoms. The corpus — defined through a programming analysis — and the use of stereotype as an analytical category revealed certain characteristics of the Spanish television landscape and led to the selection of two TV series: Física o Química (2008–2011) and Aída (2005–2014).
