Cet article constitue un essai sur l'évolution de la communication organisationnelle comme discipline d'études dans les institutions d'enseignement universitaire au Québec. Après une brève présentation des caractéristiques théoriques de la discipline ainsi que des deux orientations idéologiques dominantes, l'auteur présente certaines variables de l'évolution du contexte sociohistorique qui se sont modifiées au fil des ans au point d'agir comme pression importante sur le futur de la discipline. L'impact de ces transformations se fait sentir particulièrement sur les difficultés à construire et à maintenir une perspective critique dans le domaine. In this article the author proposes to analyze the evolution of the organizational communication discipline in the studies in the university institutions in Quebec. This essay proceeds first by the presentation of some theoretical aspects of the discipline and the two major ideological trends that have influenced the evolution of the discipline. After a brief identification of some contextual variables of the socio-historical context and their recent transformations conduct the author to consider a sort of risk for the critical approach in the discipline.
