Comme toutes juridictions, le Conseil constitutionnel ne peut faire abstraction du phénomène de la mondialisation. Ainsi, si un lien se tisse inexorablement entre le Conseil constitutionnel et la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme, d'une part, et la Cour de justice de l'Union européenne, d'autre part, cette complémentaire complémentarité n'est pas homogène. Subie dans les relations existant entre le Conseil et la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme, cette complémentarité est en revanche parfaitement revendiquée à l'égard de la Cour de justice de l'Union européenne. As any other court, the French Constitutional council cannot ignore the phenomenon of globalisation. If the Constitutional council inexorably develops links with the European Court of Human Rights on the one hand, and with the Court of Justice of the European Union on the other hand, their synergy is not homogeneous. While it is forced onto the relationships between the Constitutional Council and the European Court of Human Rights, this synergy is on the contrary clearly asserted as regards the Court of Justice of the European Union.
