L'intégration du crime de génocide dans le Code pénal de 1994, puis la création en 2011 d'un pôle dédié aux « crimes contre l'humanité, crimes et délits de guerre » au sein du TGI de Paris ont constitué une véritable « révolution judiciaire », dont on peut mesurer les enjeux à l'aune du procès mis en oeuvre devant la Cour d'assises de Paris, au début de l'année 2014. The inclusion of the crime of genocide in the 1994 Criminal Code, and then the creation in 2011 of a dedicated department within the Paris Court of First Instance for « Crimes against humanity and war crimes » have constituted a « judicial revolution » whose impact can be gauged in the light of the legal proceedings engaged before the Paris Criminal Court at the beginning of 2014.
