Le Building Information Modeling est posé tel un étendard du progrès de la construction et de la gestion des bâtiments. Nous questionnons ici les modalités d'institution d'un tel phénomène en en précisant les formes de performations (théoriques ainsi que désirantes) et d'incarnation. Ces modes d'existences du BIM participent de l'invisibilisation du travail même de collaboration qu'il est supposé prescrire. The “Building Information Modeling” is set as a progress standard for the building and maintenance of buildings in France. This paper questions the modalities of the institution of such a phenomenon, by specifying the forms of performance (theoretical as well as desiring) and incarnation. These modes of existence of the BIM participate in making the work of collaboration itself ‘invisible', that BIM is supposed to prescribe.
