Les armées, comme chaque soldat, sont soumis partout dans le monde aux droits français et international. Dans ce cadre, la prévôté, intermédiaire opérationnel capable d'apporter des éclairages précis et de donner des éléments d'ambiance, s'impose entre les hommes déployés en opex et les magistrats métropolitains. Mais une prévôté renouvelée, qui s'est adaptée aux évolutions stratégiques et juridiques, et qui offre à tous les échelons de commandement de la chaîne militaire un véritable appui à lors de la conduite des opérations extérieures. The forces, like every soldier, are subject to French and international law everywhere in the world. In this context, the military police, an operational intermediary, able to provide precise facts and to give background information, is positioned between the men deployed on peacekeeping operations and domestic magistrates. But an overhauled military police, that has adapted to the strategic and legal changes, and that provides all levels in the military chain of command with real support when operations are being conducted abroad.
