Les émotions peuvent être modifiées par la médecine et la technologie, et particulièrement celle de l'information, qui crée l'illusion d'une synchronicité entraînant leur disparition ou, au contraire, leur irruption. On peut aussi agir sur elles dans le but d'inhiber les plus gênantes et d'ainsi accroître l'efficacité du soldat au combat. Emotions can be modified by medicine and technology, particularly information technology which creates the illusion of a synchronicity that brings about their disappearance or, on the contrary, their upsurge. We can also act on emotions in the aim of inhibiting the most troublesome ones and thereby increase the effectiveness of the soldier in combat.
