En 2013, Caroline Galactéros a publié dans la revue Médium un article intitulé « Soldat augmenté, victoire fragilisée » dans lequel elle explique pourquoi la surpuissance technologique des armées occidentales n'est nullement synonyme de suprématie sur le terrain et peut accroître leur vulnérabilité, déshumaniser l'adversaire, interdire la victoire, tout en posant de redoutables questions éthiques. Développant une approche du soldat augmenté qui va bien au-delà de la simple question scientifique, elle souligne en quoi l'émergence du transhumanisme dans la chose guerrière constitue un véritable défi lancé à une philosophie politique souvent fragile dans les sociétés modernes. In 2013, Caroline Galactéros published an article in the journal Médium entitled “Enhanced soldier, undermined victory” in which she explains why the technological excess of power of Western armies is not at all synonymous with supremacy in the field and can increase their vulnerability, dehumanise the enemy and prevent victory, all the while posing formidable ethical questions. Developing an approach to the enhanced soldier that goes far beyond the simple scientific question, she underlines how the emergence of transhumanism in matters of war constitutes a true challenge for a political philosophy that, in modern societies, is often fragile.
