Globalisation et recompositions territoriales dans le Sillon Alpin Globalisation and territorial reorganisation in the Sillon Alpin, France Claude Courlet Résumé : Ce texte est consacré à l'analyse de la dialectique entre le mouvement de globalisation et la dimension locale du développement, saisie à travers la notion de système productif localisé. Appliquée au Sillon Alpin, cette analyse montre l'existence de sous-ensembles au sein de cette zone. Il n'y a pas d'intégration économique le long de l'axe Grenoble-Genève et l'entité « sillon alpin » relève largement d'une utopie territoriale. On a affaire à des systèmes locaux, fonctionnant de manière autonome, les uns par rapports aux autres avec une forte insertion (nationale et mondiale). The text analyses the dialectic between the movement towards globalisation and the local dimension of development, by looking at the notion of the localised productive system. Analysis of the Sillon Alpin (low-lying area separating the northern Prealps in France from the central alpine massifs) reveals the existence of sub-systems within this zone. In general, economic integration is lacking along the Grenoble-Geneva corridor and the Sillon Alpin as such is more of a region of the imagination. Thus several local systems can be observed, each functioning in an autonomous manner in relation to the others but with a strong degree of integration within systems outside the region (national and international). The analysis leads to another important observation : the local and regional institutions are fully involved in the changes now underway. Source : Éditeur (via Persée) |
