Cet article propose une analyse de l'évolution de la communication politique du Mouvement 5 Étoiles en Italie de ses origines en 2005 à nos jours. Le M5S, mouvement politique officiellement fondé en 2009 après l'expérience des groupes locaux ralliés autour du blog beppegrillo.it, a traversé plusieurs phases différentes. Alors qu'il n'était, au départ qu'un simple mouvement de protestation antisystème, il s'est affirmé et a fini par rejoindre le gouvernement national en 2018. Comment a évolué le rapport entre le M5S et les médias mainstream, longuement ignorés en faveur de l'usage du web et des réseaux sociaux ? Comment s'est transformée la communication du mouvement une fois au gouvernement ? Entre difficultés d'adaptation et surexposition médiatique, le M5S a continué à utiliser le web en guise d'outil de participation politique favorisant la démocratie directe, comme en témoigne la création, en 2016, de la plateforme Rousseau dans laquelle la modernité du web s'est intégrée en se mêlant à la tradition des autres médias. This article analyzes the evolution of political communication of Five Stars Movement in Italy from its origins in 2005 to the present day. The M5S, a political movement officially founded in 2009 after the experience of local groups gathered around the beppegrillo.it blog, has gone through several phases. From anti-system protest movement to national government in 2018, it has progressively changed its style of political communication. How has evolved the relationship between the M5S and the mainstream media, that have long been rejected and ignored for the benefit of the use of the web and social networks ? How has the movement's communication changed once in government ? Despite difficulties in the relationship with the media system, the M5S continued to use the web as a tool of political participation and direct democracy, as demonstrated by the creation of the Rousseau platform in 2016, in a communicative mix that has combined the modernity of the web with the tradition of other media.
