Theaetetus has been a celebrated mathematician at the time of Plato. His life and works are still mysterious. The article uses Plato as a reference to try to explain his main discoveries and to discuss the time of his death. The title expresses that he should had died at the age of 20, as did the French mathematician Evariste Galois, and that he should be considered as one of the greatest mathematicians of all times.
