| Résumé |
L'exploration des Bulletins de l'Association de Géographes Français depuis 1924 révèle un double paradigme : celui de l'approche dichotomique, opposant les réalités humaines aux réalités de la nature mais aussi celui du parti pris de l'approche analytique des objets de nature, renforçant les divisions en sous-disciplines de la géographie physique. Au cours des 100 ans, pendant la phase initiale, jusque dans les années 1950-1960, le milieu naturel est central ; puis des années 1960 aux années 1990, la période est dominée par l'approche des composantes naturelles de l'espace, sans lien avec les sociétés humaines ; enfin depuis les années 1990, les questions de gestion territorialisée de la nature sont prédominantes. L'évolution témoigne d'un déclin des intervenants opérationnels en faveur du monde académique. La géographie des sites étudiés permet d'aborder la question des enjeux de cette recherche géographique. La Critical Physical Geography, peu développée en France, permet d'éclairer sur les motivations et les présupposés de cette géographie française vue à travers le BAGF et pour laquelle il est possible de formuler un certain nombre de recommandations. The exploration of the Bulletins of the Association of French Geographers since 1924 reveals a double paradigm : that of the dichotomous approach, opposing the human realities to the realities of nature but also that of the bias of the analytical approach of objects of nature, reinforcing divisions into subdisciplines of physical geography. During the 100 years, during the initial phase, until the years 1950-1960, the natural environment is central ; then from the 1960s to the 1990s, the period is dominated by the approach of the natural components of space, unrelated to human societies ; finally, since the 1990s, issues of territorialized nature management predominate. The evolution shows a decline of operational stakeholders in favor of the academic world. The geography of the studied sites makes it possible to approach the question of the stakes of this geographical research. The Critical Physical Geography, little developed in France, allows to shed light on the motivations and presuppositions of this French geography seen through the BAGF and for which it is possible to formulate a certain number of recommendations.
