C'est la fabrication du corps reproducteur dans le contexte actuel des techniques médicales de procréation qui est l'objet de cette contribution. Trois dimensions de cette production du corps, envisagée comme un processus à la fois biologique et social en constant réaménagement, sont abordées successivement ici : l'image dessinée par la recherche scientifique ; l'ancrage dans la standardisation hospitalière ; le montage social découlant des réglementations. L'observation de différents indicateurs du système de genre dans chacun de ces registres — les attributs masculins et féminins, le siège de la reproduction, le système de sexualité — incite à conclure à une reproduction des rapports de genre. Néanmoins, on assiste simultanément à une plasticité corporelle, à un brouillage des catégories impliquant de nouvelles tensions : rien ne paraît donc définitivement joué dans les combinaisons potentielles des rapports sociaux entre hommes, femmes, chercheurs et médecins. The subject of this contribution is the fabrication of the reproductive body in the current context of medical reproductive technologies. Three dimensions of this production of the body, seen as a constantly changing both biological and social process, are dealt with here: the image created by scientific research, the anchoring of this in hospital standardization, and the social construction flowing from the regulations in force. The observation of the different indicators of gender in each of these fields — the masculine and feminine attributes, the location of reproduction, the systems of sexuality — leads us to conclude a reproduction of gender relations. Nevertheless we see at the same time a plasticity of the body, a blurring of categories implying new tensions: nothing therefore seems to be conclusively fixed in the potential combination of social relations between men, women, scientists and doctors.
