Lorsque, dans la Bible, Dieu invite un patriarche, une matriarche, un prophète, un individu à l'action, la réponse est toujours : Hinéni, « Me voici ». C'est une forme d'engagement absolu, total, qui mobilise tout l'être, qui élève au-dessus de la condition de consommateur du monde et offre de devenir acteur de l'Histoire. When, in the Bible, God calls a patriarch, matriarch, prophet or other individual to action, the response is always: Hinéni, “Here am I”. This is a form of absolute, total enlistment that mobilizes the entire being, raising those called above the condition of consumer of the world and offering them the opportunity to become agents of History. It requires you to give of yourself for others and, perhaps, simply to be straight-up human, to be a person of commitment, a warrior capable of shaking up the apathy of the world.
