Placer l'ouïe au centre des sens mobilisés dans le combat moderne, c'est affirmer que le champ de bataille est d'abord un champ sonore qui influe sur le corps des combattants et engage, avant toute autre mobilisation sensorielle, la sensibilité auditive. By placing hearing at the centre of the senses mobilised in modern combat, we assert that the battlefield is first and foremost a sound field that influences the bodies of combatants and engages auditory sensitivity ahead of any other sensory mobilisation.
