Résumé anglais The work analyzes photojournalistic images referring to migrant subjects and people between the years 2016 and 2020 on the World Press Photo website, in order to highlight forms of legibility often associated with the suffering of subjects and people in vulnerable situations. The intersection between the perspectives of Rancière, Foucault, Butler, Laugier, Didi-Huberman and Lévinas configures an approach that brings together the notions of intelligibility, scene of dissent, biopolitics/biopotency, fabulation, montage, precariousness, suffering, ways of life and face. It is evident as migrant ways of life, with their different vulnerabilities and resistance practices, are figured in the images and reveal situations of injustice and suffering, while being potentially able to show the intersectional dimensions that go through the creation of statements in which bodies, faces, landscapes and objects can be read and listened to from a political, aesthetic and ethical point of view.
