Résumé anglais The choice of an epistemological positioning is connected at the same time to the research object and to the researcher's personality. The elaboration of a methodology making round trips between practice, ground and conceptualization, reports at the same time of the men and the women's reality who are the object of action of the social work and the way the researcher is acted. By choosing to recognize the researcher's involvement in the heart of the research process, it is rather a question of “making sense” rather than “giving the proof” of the studied phenomena. However this methodology uses specific tools so as to keep its conceptual anchoring: the grounded theory by A.Strauss answers the requirements of such an approach.
