	Résumé	Cet article propose d'étudier, à travers l'exemple du vaisseau central de la nef de l'église l'abbatiale de Viboldone, le rôle des fresques dans la structuration axiale de l'espace ecclésial au Trecento. Après une description et un bref bilan historiographique, nous nous attardons essentiellement sur le traitement iconographique de l'arc triomphal en nous intéressant d'abord à la Crucifixion puis à la localisation du Jugement dernier. Ceci nous amène à souligner en conclusion l'impression d'unité conférée par ce décor en adéquation parfaite avec le déploiement architectural, ce qui semble signaler l'élaboration d'un projet cohérent, précédant à sa réalisation, de la part d'un seul commanditaire, Guglielmo Villa, en collaboration avec les artistes qui se succèdent sur le chantier durant plus de trente ans. 	Résumé anglais	The aim of this article is to study, through the example of the central nave of the abbey church of Viboldone, the role of frescoes in the axial structuring of the ecclesial space during the Trecento. After a description and a brief historiographic assessment, we focus mainly on the iconographic treatment of the triumphal arch. First, we analyze the Crucifixion and then the location of the Last Judgment. This leads us to emphasize in conclusion the impression of unity conferred by this decoration in perfect harmony with the architectural deployment, appearing as the result of a unique preliminary project preceding its achievement, designed by a single patron, Guglielmo Villa, in collaboration with the artists who succeeded each other on this decorative project over three decades.
