Cet article interroge la portée stratégique du laboratoire perpignanais du Rassemblement national au regard de la vague RN aux élections présidentielles et aux législatives dans l'ancien Languedoc-Roussillon. Nous partons de l'hypothèse formulée par E. Négrier et J. Audemard que, dans l'ex-Languedoc-Roussillon, la stratégie du RN consiste désormais moins à consolider des territoires d'enracinement qu'à structurer des territoires d'établissement. Stratégie qui soulève de nombreuses interrogations quant à la portée effective du laboratoire perpignanais, aux formes d'adhésion au sein des différents territoires (urbain, périurbain, rural), à la banalisation du RN sur la scène institutionnelle et politique locale et régionale, aux compromis des élus LR et centristes mais aussi aux capacités et limites du RN à agir (base militante faible, appareil politique peu présent sur le territoire). This paper examines the strategic scope of the RN's Perpignan laboratory in the light of the RN wave in the presidential and legislative elections in the former Languedoc-Roussillon. We follow the hypothesis formulated by E. Négrier and J. Audemard (2022) that, in the former Languedoc-Roussillon, the RN's strategy now consists less in consolidating territories of rooting than in structuring territories of establishment. This strategy raises many questions about the effective scope of the so-called Perpignan laboratory, the forms of adhesion within the different territories (urban, suburban, rural), the trivialization of the RN on the local and regional institutional and political scenes, the compromises of LR and centrist elected officials, but also the capacities and limits of the RN to act (weak militant base, political apparatus with little presence on the territory).
