L'Égypte a longtemps mené une politique industrielle sélective et dirigée par l'État, qui, associée à une multitude de problèmes socio-économiques, l'a empêchée de se remettre de la crise économique prolongée et de libéraliser son économie. L'objectif de cet article est, d'une part, d'examiner le secteur manufacturier égyptien sous différents angles, d'autre part, d'analyser la corrélation entre les tentatives de l'Égypte pour restructurer son économie et la politique européenne. This work provides an in-depth overview of Egypt's manufacturing industry. For a long time, Egypt has sought a selective and state-directed industrial policy, which, coupled with a host of socio-economic problems, has prevented it from recovering from its protracted economic crisis and liberalizing its economy. The purpose of this article is, on the one hand, to scrutinize the Egyptian manufacturing sector from different perspectives.
