La Longue Marche du Parti communiste chinois de 1934-1935 va créer un mythe où espoir du communisme, discipline de l'armée et coercition du PCC se structurent en un processus symbolique. Elle deviendra un mythe et doit son succès à l'usage des médias, à l'évitement des combats et à son coût en vies humaines. La Longue Marche, chargée de forces pleines d'imaginaire, reste dans l'histoire chinoise et collective comme la métaphore d'un effort démesuré. The Long March of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from 1934 to 1935 created a myth or hope for communism, in which the discipline of the army and the coercion of the CCP became structured as a symbolic process. It became a myth that owes its success to its use by the media, its avoidance of combat, and its cost in human lives. Imbued with the force of imagination, the Long March remains in both Chinese and human history in general as the metaphor for disproportionate effort.
