	Résumé	S'engageant à ce que « d'ici cinq ans les conditions soient réunies pour des restitutions temporaires ou définitives du patrimoine africain en Afrique », Emmanuel Macron a provoqué en 2017 un véritable séisme au sein des institutions patrimoniales hexagonales. Chargeant Felwine Sarr et Bénédicte Savoy de mener un état des lieux de la question des restitutions, il a inauguré un vent de restitution qui a depuis soufflé sur toute l'Europe. Convaincu de l'importance philosophique des restitutions, le présent article se propose de revenir sur la genèse du rapport Sarr-Savoy pour éclairer d'un nouveau jour les propositions formulées par ses auteurs. Il s'attachera également à comprendre le sens de « l'éthique relationnelle » proposée comme sous-titre de ce rapport et à imaginer les moyens pour la mettre en œuvre. 	Résumé anglais	‪Committing that “within five years the conditions will be met for the temporary or permanent restitution of African heritage in Africa,” Emmanuel Macron caused in 2017 a stir within French heritage institutions. Tasking Felwine Sarr and Bénédicte Savoy with carrying out an inventory of the issue of restitution, he started a wave of restitution that has since spread throughout Europe. Convinced of the philosophical importance of restitutions, this article looks back at the genesis of the Sarr-Savoy report to shed new light on the proposals put forward by its authors. It also seeks to understand the meaning of “relational ethics” suggested as the subtitle of this report, and to imagine the means to implement it.‪ Source : Éditeur (via Cairn.info)
