Cet article analyse les tweets de l'ancien président brésilien Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva durant son incarcération entre avril 2018 et novembre 2019. L'objectif est d'identifier avec une approche communicationnelle la manière dont cet homme politique s'exprime face aux accusations de corruption qui le mènent en prison. Notre démarche quanti-qualitative, alliant l'analyse statistique des textes à l'analyse argumentative de discours, dégage les axes discursifs mobilisés dans les publications du compte officiel de Lula sur Twitter pendant cette période qui s'articulent autour de l'ethos de victime et l'ethos de candidat. This article analyzes the tweets of the former Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva during his incarceration between April 2018 and November 2019. The aim is to identify with a communication approach how this politician face accusations of corruption that lead him to prison. Our quantitative-qualitative approach, combining statistical analysis of texts with discourse analysis, makes it possible to identify the discursive axes mobilized in the publications of the official account of Lula on Twitter and from this period are based on the ethos of victim and the ethos of candidate.
