Cet article explore, d'un point de vue ethnographique, les stratégies alimentaires, au cœur de l'économie d'un village tanzanien, dans la perspective d'une lecture genrée du processus de préservation-destruction des sociétés agricoles domestiques en général soumis à la globalisation marchande. La démarche d'anthropologie économique proposée fonde son discours interprétatif sur l'étude de la production, de la circulation du produit et de la reproduction sociale, tout en intégrant les autres dimensions sociales et, notamment, l'étude des discours et des représentations. Based on an ethnographic approach, this articles explores food strategies at the heart of the economy of a Tanzanian village through a gendered reading of the process of preservation-destruction of domestic agricultural societies in general-ones subjected to market globalisation. The economic anthropology approach proposed here grounds its interpretation on the study of production, product circulation and social reproduction, while integrating other social dimensions and in particular the study of discourses and representations.
