Antonio Negri a affirmé la nécessité d'un retour à la dialectique pour faire face à « l'usurpation de la critique », opérée d'ailleurs aussi par une certaine interprétation de l'École de Francfort où le rapport au pouvoir et au Capital est pensé comme domination absolue. Cet essai suit les développements du rapport problématique entre l'exigence de la dialectique et le projet ontologique, qui a caractérisé la deuxième partie de l'œuvre de Negri à partir de 1981. L'hypothèse de travail est que, malgré les contradictions induites par le rapport entre ontologie et politique, la reformulation du marxisme en tant qu'ontologie de la production a permis à Negri de repenser la praxis politique et de nourrir une pensée de la révolution au moment où son impossibilité était déclarée par le néolibéralisme. Antonio Negri has asserted the need for a return to dialectics in order to confront the « usurpation of critique », which is also carried out by a certain interpretation of the Frankfurt School, in which the relationship to power and Capital is thought of as absolute domination. In this essay, we follow developments in the problematic relationship between the dialectical demand and the ontological project that characterised the second part of Negri's work from 1981 onwards. The working hypothesis is that, despite the contradictions induced by the relationship between ontology and politics, the reformulation of Marxism as an ontology of production allowed Negri to rethink political praxis and to nourish a thought of revolution at a time when its impossibility was declared by neoliberalism.
