Démocratiser la gestion. C'est l'idéal de l'Économie Sociale et Solidaire. C'est aussi, et on le sait moins, celui de la « participation » au sens gaullien du terme. « Sociétaires», ce terme alors utilisé par Charles de Gaulle raisonne favorablement également à l'oreille d'un tenant de l'économie sociale et solidaire. Mais même dans cette forme, on est souvent très loin de la démocratie voulue. La démocratie ordonne que chacune des parties prenantes ait le même degré d'information économique. Donner un pouvoir aux salariés, comme le prônait la participation gaullienne, serait une priorité. Pour ce faire, il faut d'abord refonder le système d'information comptable.
Gérer la démocratie semble bien alors s'imposer ! Oui, mais comment ? Il faut donc revenir non pas aux institutions, mais bien à ceux qui les utilisent, les hommes et les femmes. Le gestionnaire a une vision pragmatique qui peut alors être utile :
Un premier colloque a été organisé en 2023, Démocratie en Santé et pouvoir d'agir des usagers en partenariat avec le Cnam-Paris. Sandra Bertezene a coordonné un cahier spécial des meilleurs articles en matière de sciences de gestion de l'édition 2023 qu'elle présente dans ce numéro.
Un deuxième colloque aura lieu en partenariat toujours avec le Cnam-Paris en y ajoutant nos amis québécois, le 13 juin 2024 en visioconférence. Son programme est déjà établi sur le thème du Pouvoir d'agir des usagers en France et au Québec : partage de connaissances pour une plus grande démocratie en santé.
Un ouvrage que nous coordonnerons, paraîtra en 2025, pour l'anniversaire des 60 ans de notre revue, La RSG. Il présentera les contributions retenues dans toutes les thématiques qui ne sont pas « gestionnaires » au sens strict. Democratize management. It is the ideal of the Social and Solidarity Economy. It is also, and we know it less, that of «participation» in the Gallic sense of the term. Sociétaires (cooperative shareholders), this term then used by Charles de Gaulle also favourably reasons in the ear of a supporter of the social and solidarity economy. But even in this form, we are often very far from the desired democracy. Democracy dictates that each stakeholder has the same degree of economic information. Giving power to employees, as advocated by Gaullist participation, would be a priority. To do this, the accounting information system must first be reformed.
Managing democracy then seems to impose itself! Yes, but how? So we have to go back not to the institutions, but to those who use them, men and women. The manager has a pragmatic vision that can then be useful:
A first symposium was organized in 2023, Democracy in Health and User Empowerment in partnership with Cnam-Paris. Sandra Bertezene coordinated a special book of the best management science articles of the 2023 edition that she presents in this issue. A second conference will be held in partnership with Cnam-Paris, adding our Quebec friends, on June 13, 2024 by videoconference. Its program is already established on the theme of the Power to act of users in France and Quebec: sharing knowledge for a greater democracy in health.
A book that we will coordinate will be published in 2025, for the 60th anniversary of our journal, The RSG. It will present the selected contributions in all themes that are not «managers» in the strict sense.
