L'étude concerne un énoncé de type Quand on vous dit que (les prix baissent) : il est montré que quand est figé et on vous dit que semi-figé, quand prenant la fonction d'un modalisateur aléthique, qui fait concorder le temps de l'énonciation avec le temps de l'événement rapporté. Cette expression illustre à deux titres la théorie de la grammaticalisation, par l'évolution du statut de quand d'une part, et par le statut autonome, parataxique, de la locution d'autre part. The study concerns a statement such as Quand on vous dit que (les prix baissent); it is shown that quand is fixed, and on vous dit que semi-fixed, quand taking the function of an alethic modalizer, which matches the time of the enunciation with the time of the reported event. This expression illustrates the theory of grammaticalization in two ways, by the evolution of the status of quand on the one hand, and by the autonomous, parataxic status of the locution on the other hand.
