La sociologie porte un regard particulier sur le fait urbain, notamment parce qu'elle permet cette interrelation entre les choses, et spatialise l'information qu'elle analyse de diverses manières. Cette contribution analyse une recherche-projet sur la cohabitation intergénérationnelle d'un point de vue méthodologique en proposant une schématisation d'une itération dynamique du projet et de la recherche où s'articulent le design et la sociologie. Dans un premier temps cette contribution présente la manière dont la sociologie se marie au design en regard des SHS et des types de recherches. Puis, une explication brève est donnée sur le dispositif intergénérationnel et la démarche de recherche-projet. Sociology has a particular look on the urban fact, notably because it allows this interrelation between things, and spatializes the information that it analyzes in various ways. This contribution analyzes a project grounded research on intergenerational homesharing from a methodological point of view by proposing a schematization of a dynamic iteration of the project and the research where design and sociology are articulated. In a first step, the article presents the way sociology marries design in relation to human and social sciences and types of research. Then a brief explanation is given about the intergenerational service and the project grounded research approach.
