Après l'échec de Paris 2012, les décideurs politiques, administratifs et sportifs identifient un « problème » des candidatures olympiques françaises. Ils établissent un cadre d'action commun et une mise en administration des grands événements sportifs internationaux pour produire un environnement institutionnel et des réseaux propices à la construction d'une nouvelle candidature. Une fois celle de Paris 2024 officiellement lancée, le travail de ces entrepreneurs de l'olympisme consiste à éviter une politisation qui mettrait en péril le projet. After the failure of Paris 2012, the political, administrative, and sporting decision-makers identified a “problem” with the French Olympic candidatures. They established a common action framework and a special administration for the great international sporting event in order to produce an institutional environment and networks conductive to the construction of a new application. Once the Paris 2024 application had been officially launched, the work of these Olympic entrepreneurs has been to avoid a politicisation that would have endangered the project.
