Cette étude s'intéresse aux quatorze pièces d'autrices créées à la Comédie-Française entre 1680 et 1760, afin d'interroger les possibles émancipateurs de la création théâtrale sur la scène institutionnelle aux xviie et xviiie siècles. Après avoir envisagé l'écriture dramatique comme une stratégie d'émancipation pour les autrices du corpus, on montrera que les règles qui régissent le théâtre officiel contraignent l'expression sur la scène d'une pensée émancipatrice. Puis les pièces seront analysées pour mettre au jour les caractéristiques d'une dramaturgie émancipatrice sur la scène classique. Source : Éditeur (via Cairn.info) |

This study focuses on the fourteen plays by female dramatists staged at the Comédie-Française between 1680 and 1760, in order to explore the emancipatory possibilities of creation in classical theatre during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. After considering playwriting as an emancipation strategy for the female authors in the corpus, the article explores the rules governing official theatre that constrained the expression of emancipatory thought on stage.
