| Résumé |
La thèse de l'importation du conflit du Moyen-Orient pour tenter d'expliquer le nouvel antisémitisme n'est pas suffisante à elle seule pour constituer l'unique approche de ce phénomène. Raisonner à partir des mécanismes d'identification (à la cause palestinienne ou à la cause israélienne) à l'oeuvre dans la société française, conduit en définitive à ne considérer le nouvel antisémitisme que comme un épiphénomène. Pourtant, il s'agit plutôt là d'un retour d'une judéophobie s'abritant derrière un « antisionisme total », que l'on trouve notamment dans les milieux altermondialistes, et qui s'alimente aussi parfois des thèses négationnistes de l'extrême droite. Au final, la mondialisation de l'antisémitisme résulte plus d'une crise de l'islam et de certains effets de la globalisation, que d'une importation du conflit israélo-palestinien. The Roots of the New Anti-Semitism Trying to explain the new wave of anti-Semitism with the sole thesis of an importation of the Middle East conflict in France is not consistent enough to stand for the unique approach on this phenomenon. An analysis that only focuses on the mechanisms of identification (to the Palestinian or the Israeli cause) only leads in the end to consider the new anti-Semitism as an epiphenomenon. Yet, what we are witnessing instead is the return of a Judeo-phobia that hides behind a « total anti-Zionism» which one meets in particular among alter-globalisation sympathisers and which also borrows sometimes from the revisionist theses of the extreme right. In the end, the globalisation of anti-Semitism derives more from a crisis of Islam and some results of globalisation rather than from the importation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
