	Résumé	Les retombées du conflit israélo-palestinien en France depuis le début de la seconde Intifada se traduisent par une montée des tensions sociales et communautaires. La suspicion s'abat sur quiconque exprime un avis sur le sujet, surtout si cet avis s'éloigne des clichés manichéens traditionnels sur la question. Toutefois, l'identification, largement factice, aux acteurs d'un conflit extérieur, tout comme d'ailleurs l'adhésion à des formes de fondamentalisme religieux ou l'idée d'une « islamisation » du monde, ainsi que le retrait dans une communauté juive close, constituent avant tout des écrans de fumée qui masquent l'accroissement des inégalités, le démantèlement des acquis sociaux et le recul de l'État. 	Résumé anglais	Community Members Use the Conflict to their Own Interests Since the beginning of the second Intifada, the Middle East conflict has had a major impact in France, leading to growing tensions on the social scale and among communities. As a consequence, anyone daring to emit a viewpoint on this subject is inevitably perceived as suspicious, especially if his opinion differs from the usual dualistic cliché. However, this supposedly identification to one or the other party which are opposed in this faraway conflict, the support of religious fundamentalism, the idea that the world is being « Islamized » and the isolation of the Jewish community are nothing more than a smokescreen meant to hide the increasing inequalities, the dismantling of the social benefits and the State's failures in front of its responsibility.
