    • Migrations et évolutions démographiques (Rhône-Alpes, 1954-75) - Pierre Dumolard p. 115-126 accès libre avec résumé en anglais
The analysis of the strong demographic growth of the Rhône-Alpes region from 1954 to 1975 reveals : — the great diversity of the rythms of evolution of its urban areas and rural districts ; — the major part and role of migrations, mainly in the sixties, but also their fairly instable and turbulent aspect ; — the greater relative stability of gains or losses due to natural movements. Concerning the recent period (1968-75) , a map shows the importance of rurbanization and the increase of North-East/South-West inequalities inside Rhône-Alpes.
    • Un exemple de ségrégation spatiale, la disparité dans la répartition scolaire dans la région stéphanoise - Jean Ronzon p. 127-157 accès libre avec résumé en anglais
A case study in spacial segregation : disparity in spread of immigrant workers schoolchildren in Saint-Etienne region. About 20 % of the pupils in the primary education in Saint-Etienne region are immigrant workers' children. Their importance is higher in the state schools (22,6 % ) than in private schools (5,2 % ) and they are gathered in a few schools located either in old depressed urban centers or in transit cities. In spite of trends for scholar equality, there is a real segregating pressure.
    • Contribution à la connaissance des déplacements de la population de Montélimar - Jean Sarramea p. 159-172 accès libre avec résumé en anglais
About the holiday migrations of Montélimar population. In the middle of the Rhône valley, between Lyon and Marseille, the town of Montélimar reaches 30 000 permanent residents. The first part of this article tries to analyse the different reasons why the inhabitants leave on holidays. They go chiefly towards mountains, coasts and foreign countries but do not exceed long distances. The second part studies the regional non- touristic travels. Our index of attraction allows us to point out and know more precisely the connections on a regional scale. We can therefore prove that the attraction of Valence and Lyon are more important than the influence of Avignon and Marseille.
